Breezy Bluff Art Group has been in operation since 1992 following Betty's resignation from teaching private school art classes. This class is an open workshop the allows a one on one approach in a group setting. We meet in Bloomington and McLean in Central Illinios each week*
Students are working in sketching, painting and pastels on individual projects done from snapshots, calendar or magazine pictures. The purpose of the group is NOT to create masterpiece art works but to use each project to improve for the next project. This approach avoids the stress some classes can cause. We do not lecture but instead teach the art history and techniques as the need arises in the individual's work. The Bloomington classes are daytime classes and are often used by home school students. The McLean classes are Monday evening meetings at 6:30PM and are open to ages 7+ and Adults.

the work below is example of what we have achieved in some students. We do not expect this in the beginning and take each student where we find them ! All we require to improve your artistic ability is a desire on the part of the student to improve. Much of art is skill but of course the talent part is also required to some extent. ANY ONE can learn to draw better!
